Okay, so it's been 1,5 years since my last journal entry... and, without checking, probably three years since I last uploaded anything here. That being said, I just bought a simple tablet on a whim (not nearly as advanced as my former Intuos), so there is a small chance you'll see me back on dA soon enough. Don't expect too much. Okay? Okay.

Edit: Okay, so it was only two months since I uploaded an edited old work. And only about two years since I submitted anything new. Ah well...

I must admit, however, that today is not my birthday. It seems my settings have been meddled with - It's actually December 25th! I appreciate it nonetheless!

Oh, and can anyone tell me where I can change those settings? I can't seem to find it...! -_____-

ok, here's what's going on...

i've received a couple of pm's from people wondering if i've left the planet or something, so here's my explanation to the situation (sounds like a bad rhyme).

four and a half months ago, i moved to japan. that's when i sold my tablet in hopes that i'd quickly buy a new one when i came to japan. that never happened. since i submitted my latest deviation, sadly i haven't painted or drawn at all.

i hope to buy a tablet again in the next few months, but i'm terribly busy and have no idea when will be a good time. i have no plans on closing my account, but it might not be updated (except for the very occasional journal) for a while.

i'm grateful that i still have a good number of watchers and some daily visitors, despite my low activity on dA.

just wanna check and see if anyone out there is interested in my wacom intuos3 tablet!
its really the shit and i love it, but im moving back to japan and i'll get a new one there, so...
its the A5 format, so its easy to handle and big enough to work well!

we could complete the deal over paypal, or possibly ebay (i can up it on request for buyer safety).
anyway... if anyone's interested, im selling it for 140 pounds. its like 400 pounds new and its in great condition, so its not that bad, yah?

oh, and i got another scholarship... this time, directly from the japanese government! two years of research paid for! how awesome is that!!

just wanna boast and brag about my latest achievement!
an hour or so ago i was informed that i have been awarded a scholarship for my research in japan, and will move to japan for further research from july to november or so.
also, i'm awaiting a decision for whether i will also receive the monbukagakushou scholarship, financed directly by the japanese government. if i do receive it, i will be able to continue my research for another two years, from april 2011 till march 2013. how amazing would that be??!

anyway, just needed to get it out of the system! come visit me...??
