hey people,

here's my latest. found it on my computer a while ago, and decided to finish it. :D

the lineart belongs to :iconpokefreak:, so dont go give me any compliments on it. its been ages since he gave me permission to color it, but at least im not getting any worse, so im hoping its still okay to post it! matter of fact, im off to ask him! ^^;

so yeah, its deidara from the naruto series btw. call it a memorial or tribute or whatever you want, he's dead meat now anyway! xD

mmm... i have no problem with neither of them, but artists' styles change with time, and just like everyone gets better with practice, so has he i suppose.

Wow! This is awesome! I LOVE the little sandcastle at the bottom - it has a great colour and texture. It looks real! I like how you've done the colour of the water at the shoreline too, very good. And the sky is great. It reminds me of a proper storybook illustration. Well done!

thank you! ^^ haha, i threw in that little castle the last thing i did... well, i still havent settled on if it adds or detracts, but on the whole i think its more good than bad... :D

Wow, this is really one of your best works, I love it soo much!! ^_^
I know I tell you this all the time, but your backgrounds really are superb and as Kadoman pointed out, the area around the shoreline was given a really neat touch. :)
Just a bit of critique, I think that where the sand goes in front of Deidara, it looks a little flat. I suppose you could fix that by softening the edge maybe?
